Phrases

                                     


                                              PHRASAL VERBS 

A group of words ( known as PHRASES ) that consist of a verb and a preposition, or a verb and an adverb or both. What's interesting is that the meaning of the total phrase is in no way the meaning of any part of the phrase.






Here are some phrasal verbs typically used in given situations.






















Notice that the meaning of "hang up" in both the situations above are totally different.
