WHY BLOG ??

I have a great passion to pen random thoughts on just about anything under the sun, for the sheer love of putting into words what races through my mind.

If you have a way with words and can dish up some interesting reading then why not unleash it? 

This is just a beginning and I am a long way from being a Pro. But determined I am to hone my writing skills and communicating skills thereby. 

I guess it'd be great to get a feedback and some appreciation (I am not ruling out the brickbats too!!) I am open to receiving the good with the bad comments as they will strengthen my need to improve.

Having said that, I would honestly like to be able to reach out to those strata of society who nurture this dream to master English but who have a very justifiable fear to do so. Not being exposed to English during their formative years as well as a pitiably low standard of English taught in local schools have put an early end to their pursuit of the same.

If taught in a systematic manner, it can be made an easy and enjoyable journey.

 The idea behind this blog is also ;

 * To cater to that level of English learners ------- the beginners.

 * To enable them to understand Grammar in a simple yet educative method as it truly is necessary to     have a basic knowledge of Grammar when mastering a language.

 * To gradually introduce vocabulary to enhance the language.

This may seem too basic but that exactly is my intention - to lure the students to take small baby steps before they learn to gallop.

Simple though it seems, to attain fluency requires interest and practice and cannot be accomplished in a slotted time as proclaimed by self - promoting institutes who promise "fluent speaking in just one week”!!!!

You will never know if you can do it unless you start now.

English is a globally accepted language and learning it is not a luxury, it is a necessity. In today's world, not knowing and speaking it is a huge disability that should be rectified.
